GRANITE
In earlier times before cemeteries were common, people used to have burial plots near their family homes. These graves were usually marked with rough stones, rocks, or wood. They were typically marked with the deceased’s name, age and year of death. Gradually church yard burials evolved and slate or sandstone began to be used as headstones. As people started to give importance to the gravestones, Granite began to be used. It is durable and everlasting. We deal with many colors of granite. The samples below show some of the granite that is available.
